Ellen Lemer Korney

Ellen Lemer Korney, ASID, C.I.D., has been an interior designer for nearly thirty years. Having spent twenty years in New York, she moved to Los Angeles, where she soon became recognized for her ability to blend different elements in a timeless, elegant style that values comfort and reflects her clients’ lives and personalities.

After receiving her bachelor of arts degree, Ms. Lemer Korney completed her design education at the New York School of Interior Design and Parsons School of Design. She has served on the Board of Directors of both the New York Metropolitan Chapter and the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and was elected Treasurer of ASID/Los Angeles. An award-winning designer, she has also been active in community service in both cities, participating in Designer Showcases as well as redoing Mayor Richard Riordan’s office and the Ronald McDonald House.

Ms. Lemer Korney has completed residential and commercial projects on both the East and West Coasts. Besides being listed in Baron’s Who’s Who in Interior Design and published in a multitude of newspapers, magazines and books, she has also appeared on cable television, most recently on The Kitty Barthelemew Show on House & Garden TV.
